So far this is quite impressive in the non-stick department. Even when cooking questionable things at higher heat, so far no sticking. I'm going to try not to push my luck, but its pretty cool so far. The texture is nubbly and that doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm not 100 percent sure about the heat distribution. I use it on a burner that's a little too small and tilts and it doesn't seem to me that the heat in the pan is noticeably better/more spread out than any other pan in this situation---there are "cold" spots and hot spots---but should one expect one's pan to magically be equally hot in all areas in a situation like this? Not sure. Anyway, if things continue like this, I think this pans a winner. I'm just assuming its healthy because its German.

I bought this pan because non toxic. It is good, no funny smell, can cook meat with no stickness.
